Participation in Literary Masters/Literary Masters Groups LLC (“LM/LMG LLC”) book groups is voluntary. I understand that participation in in-person gatherings may involve exposure to communicable or infectious illnesses, including but not limited to COVID-19, influenza, RSV, norovirus, the common cold, and other contagious diseases. While LM/LMG LLC may implement reasonable health and safety practices when appropriate, no precaution can eliminate the risk of exposure.

I understand that it is my responsibility, as an individual participant or as the parent or legal guardian of a participating child, to determine whether participation is appropriate for myself and/or my child(ren). I further agree that neither I nor my child(ren) will attend an LM/LMG LLC meeting if we are experiencing symptoms of a contagious illness, have a fever, or otherwise believe our attendance could pose a health risk to others.

I voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with participation in LM/LMG LLC book groups, including the risk of exposure to communicable or infectious illnesses that may result from my own actions or those of others, including but not limited to LM/LMG LLC employees, contractors, facilitators, representatives, agents, volunteer hosts, group participants, members of host households, or visitors.

On behalf of myself, my child(ren), and my household members, I voluntarily assume these risks and release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless LM/LMG LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, facilitators, representatives, agents, and volunteer host families, acting in their capacity as hosts, from and against any and all claims, liabilities, actions, damages, losses, costs, or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating to exposure to or transmission of any communicable or infectious illness in connection with participation in an LM/LMG LLC book group. This release includes claims based upon the alleged acts, omissions, or ordinary negligence of LM/LMG LLC or the individuals identified above, whether such exposure or illness occurs before, during, or after participation in an LM/LMG LLC program.
