The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people. These rules and regulations have been, and continue to be, fluid, frequently changing based upon infection rates and increasing knowledge about Covid-19. Community transmission of COVID-19 continues, including transmission by individuals who are infected and contagious, but have no symptoms.

Each individual/parent or guardian must decide for themselves if they are willing to take the risk of enrolling themselves/their child(ren) in Literary Masters/ Literary Masters Groups LLC (LM/ LMG LLC) book groups, including deciding whether they need to take additional precautions to protect their health and the health of their child(ren) and others in the household. Of particular importance to consider is the risk to participants or others in the household who are 60 years old or older, or who have underlying health conditions. Individuals/parents/guardians may want to discuss these risks and concerns with their family physician/pediatrician. I understand the risks of enrolling myself/my child(ren) in LM/ LMG LLC  book group(s) and agree to assume these risks for myself/my child(ren) and my household. I understand that the risk of becoming infected with Covid-19 at an LM/ LMG LLC book group may result from the actions of myself and others including, but not limited to, LM/ LMG LLC tutor/facilitators, group participants, host household members and visitors. I voluntarily agree to assume the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself, and/or my child(ren) (including but not limited to personal injury, disability or death) illness, damage, loss, claim, liability or expense, of any kind, related to Covid-19, that I or my child(ren) or household members may experience or incur in connection with my/my child(ren)’s participation in an LM/ LMG LLC group (“Claims”). On my behalf and on behalf of my child(ren) and my household members, I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge and hold harmless LM/ LMG LLC, it’s employees, contractors, representatives and agents, of and from Claims related to Covid-19, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto. I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims related to Covid-19 based upon actions, omissions or negligence of LM/ LMG LLC, its employees, contractors, agents or representatives, whether an infection occurs before, during or after participation in an LM/ LMG LLC group.
